I Am Katness. (The Hunger Games)
I am determined to get food on the table
I wonder how they do this to our district
I hear kids hungry and whimpering
I see people suffering
I want to help them all but I can't
I am and will not let my family suffer


I pretend that its normal to hunt for my own food
I feel so redundant
I touch the deer as its grasping for air
I worry sometimes we will be chosen for The Hunger Games
I cry at the end when I hear Prim's name get called
I am and will volunteer as tribute

I understand that I may die but i must try and survuve
I say to Prim "I promise I'll come back"
I dream that I will come back
I try to ignore the thought of death
I hope at the end I hurt nobody
I Am Katness

I chose the book The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins for my theme which is Ambition. Katness is trying survive but at the same time trying not get anyone killed. She has to survive in order to keep her little sisters promise. Katness trying to survive wont be easy and will be difficult experience. She may have to go threw dark paths she doesn't want to but in order to keep her promise she must. She must strive and do things such as maybe even murder someone. Hopefully this book is as good as people say it is.

 This quote means that you don't have to have a special power to over come any obstacles in your life. All you need is yourself to pursue life and the barriers that get in the way. Sometimes people have no idea how to manage life and not everything could prepare you for what is coming ; the experience.

I agree with this quote because anyone could be anything or anyone as long as they set there mind to it. Anyone and everyone can be a hero in many ways.

My life has one hero and its my mother. She has taught me everything I know. She is my hero and always will be. Thanks to her everything in my life has fallen into place perfectly. For every downfall I had she was there to catch me. Everyday of every moment I'm glad to have such a great mother like her because she may be a pain but at the end im thankful.
